Arkham Asylum uses a lot of dark undertones in their story telling, giving us a gritty Batman experience similar to our beloved Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight. While it is not really complicated… it is not a bad story either. DARK SOULS 3Īrkham Asylum is a very linear game: Joker does something bad, stop the Joker from doing something bad. All in all, this is a fun and well-made Batman game with tons of intriguing lore to be found in the fantastic map design. This game’s Gothic art design has also allowed it to age pretty well in the visual department (outside of some janky facial animations). While the story itself is pretty bare-bones with no real emotional beats, it’s still interesting enough to keep you engaged throughout your play-through.
